Soy chilena Artista / joyera y diseñadora gráfica, residente en Barcelona.
Estudié joyería artística contemporánea en la Escola Superior Massana, Centro de Arte y Diseño en Barcelona.
Tengo una extensa trayectoria en exposiciones a nivel nacional como internacional.
En Estados Unidos, mi trabajo está representado por el joyero y coleccionista Charon Kransen Arts.
Soy miembro activo del Consorcio de Comercio Artesanía y Moda de Cataluña/CCAM y de tres asociaciones artísticas:
Asociación gremial de joyeros contemporáneos de Chile Joya Brava A.
La brújula Arte en tránsito, Asociación artística chilena.
Asociación de Artistas y diseñadores de Allada Vermell Craft Market, Barcelona.
“Mi propuesta se basa en la reutilización y el reciclaje: una vez que el objeto pierde el sentido para el cual fue elaborado,
lo tomo y apelo a la transformación intuitiva de los materiales artificiales ya desechados. Mantengo las huellas de su uso anterior,
la forma, la memoria que nos aporta, y, a su vez, acentúo el valor añadido del trabajo hecho a mano. Es el diálogo y el tratamiento
delicado y respetuoso el que reivindica el oficio de artesano y se traduce en una pieza única, objeto o diseño tangible con un ADN de color y diversidad.”
About me::
Chilean Artist / jeweler and grphic designer, resident in Barcelona.
I studied contemporary artistic jewelry at the Massana School, Center for Arts and Design in Barcelona.
I have an extensive career in national and international exhibitions.
In the United States, my work is represented by the jeweler and collector Charon Kransen Arts.
I am an active member of the Catalonia Craft and Fashion Trade Center / CCAM, and of three artistic associations:
Association of contemporary jewelers of Chile Joya Brava A.G
La brújula Art in transit, Chilean artistic association.
Association of Artists and Designers of Allada Vermell craft market, Barcelona.
"My proposal is based on reusing and recycling: once the object loses the meaning for which it was made,
I take it and appeal to the intuitive transformation of its artificial materials already discarded.
I keep the traces of the object’s previous use, its form, to what it reminds us, and, at the same time,
I highlight the added value of the work done by hand. It is the dialogue and the delicate and respectful
treatment of the materials that asserts the artisan's trade, and this work is translated into a unique piece,
object, or a tangible design with a DNA of color and diversity. "
